How can I describe it? It's just fantastic

There's long been a rumor that the hallucination scene in Leda was actually storyboarded by Inomata. In her Animation Works doujin, she confirms that she did storyboards but "doesn't remember the scene".
However, when you read 80s interviews, whenever that scene is brought up...

Rewatched some Oniisama E, and amazed at always by the photography. Almost each shot can be divided into areas of light and darkness, partly thanks to the backgrounds, but mostly to dark/bright filters and lighting on the borders of the screen

Sometimes I remember this random 1988 magazine illustration by Inomata and I like to imagine it's how Genmu Senki Leda 2 would have looked like had she been on board and Kaname hadn't closed down
