Makoto's wavy hair is hell to clean up the lines for, but it looks fluffy so all's good, I guess.

I mentioned a while back I had forgotten how to do lines for illustrations. Working on this, I actually realised I forgot what tools I used not how.

Played around with brushes, downloaded the ones I've got used to use for painting, etc, etc.

My wrist hurts now, though. Guess it was still injured after Mini kicked my arm. 😭 I'll have to rest over the weekend and continue on Monday.

I finished this. It's really rough, but I think I might use number 4 as my new PFP?

Anyway. 1 & 2 use the first set, which is softer and sometimes that works, but it was not what i wanted. (Never mind, I forgot to colour lips on the first one.)

Happy coincidence, but I even can show why I find blocking colours helpful.

1 uses my original colour palette. It's lighter in skin tones. It wouldn't work was my what I determined.
