I need help, #3dart/#3danimation #gamedev/#indiegamedev ppl! Rigging char, but stuck on camera hanging from straps around neck. Tried using bones but can't get straps+cam to move well together. Ideas? Don't want vert anim / IK if avoidable, just wanna be able to animate by hand.

Gonna do the lazy but for my needs sensible thing and just allow a bit of self-overlap on the finger joints or I'll never get done!

Starting out simple by just assigning full weight to all of these… Works for almost everything except the buttons on the coat so I will try to match the weight on the coat itself.

Pretty sure I can't get a run animation out of a leg that won't go any higher than this. :p

Here's an annoyance… Even with full weight (red) I can't get the bottom of the coat to follow the leg all the way. :((

Adding some volume back to the hair sticking out below since it almost disappeared from some angles when it was only made up of planes, but I'm keeping the planes in the bangs! #gamedev
