Named for the first black main character in an animated film, the Tiana test is meant to keep track of the visibility of black characters in animated films. So far, there have been strides in doing this but most of them still missing the mark of passing this test, if not barely.

Loving the Respect Animation thing going on Twitter so it’s a good reminder that underrated anime deserve just the same amount of appreciation as any other and that’s a fact.
