Watching @BBCSpringwatch whilst in the Scottish Highlands for the week. We've got Capercaillie, Black Grouse and a Wild Cat for company. Hoping for a sight of a Pine Marten on the feeders 🤓

Another rainy day, so for #Day4 #30daysWild I've been going through @AshBaines07 skull collection trying to get some ID's. Most are from a Peregrine site; Ringed Plover, Grey Plover, Dunlin, Jack and Common Snipe. Also a Leach's Storm Petrel! 🤓💚

Am I right in thinking that the two skulls in pic 1 are Water Shrew, Neomys fodiens? Pic 2- Common Shrew, Pic 3- Pygmy Shrew, Pic 4- showing size difference.

Great birthday spent at @Leighton_moss just mooching round. Ticked American Wigeon and saw the Great Grey Shrike. Some lovely views of other species too. Nice day 🤓😊

Came home from Cyprus and went to see the Purple Heron at @Leighton_moss 26/8/2017. Saw it fish and get scared off by a Grey Heron

Last night moth trapping at @MartonMereLNR had a few new species for me including Fen Wainscot and Gothic. Other sp caught; BCMark, RTiger 🤓
