Insects at the reserve included my first Purple Hairstreak (wasn't expecting at all!), Dor Beetles, Darters and a few carabids 🤓

Starting off #30DaysWild #Day1 with a Masked Crab carapace found was combing the strand line at Lytham St Anne's 🦀

Female Common Blue. Has a crumpled wing. Nice to see the colony has come through again this year 😊

Gait Barrows was a nice way to start the day before the thunderstorm. Lady's Slipper Orchid with a trapped bee, moths, butters and insects 😊

The amazingly camouflaged Red and Black Froghopper, Cercopis vulnerata. Guess it is hoping for you to be really colourblind 😋🤓
