So I was trying out various art programs and found the lovely #Krita! Which is free by the way and has brushes that are absolutely gorgeous.

I recommend anyone who's interested in creating a traditional look for their art, check it out.

I tried out painting in black and white first and put on overlay on for color. With some additional layers for details and fixing things up.

This is a concept for a Merlin character. Really I just like drawing different types of Merlins, my favorite wizard.

I have so many mixed feelings. So I went back to my original brushes and they just way quicker and more easy to control. Not sure what to do yet!

Painted sketch while trying out a new brush on clip studio paint. Always trying to find new ones that work with painting.

It blends well. Reminds me of oil painting. Gotta try this affect with a textured brush.
