Today is #WorldBookDay. I am delighted to have made three small books/zines last year and looking forward to do more in 2019 😃 #sciart #scicomm #bioart

One can hardly say more about #wolves. Synonymous with #forest #predators, they have recently enjoyed a steady population increase in some EU countries. In my last year's zine I look at various creatures that reside in the woods. #sciart #scicomm #bioart

Here comes the 2nd edition of my zine/book Obscure Cycle. Amended with some rare facts and latest stand on eel's conservation, it is a concise and entertaining piece for anyone who loves art, #eels and marine wildlife. #sciart #scicomm.

Enjoyed drawing #fish this past week and covered most of my favourite #freshwater #predators, including #pike, #perch and #zander. Looking forward to the #SundayFishSketch tomorrow 🙂 #sciart #scicomm
#Perch is a uniquely beautiful fish; this stripey #predator is one of the most common #fish living in our lakes and rivers and can grow up to 8 - 9 pounds in weight. Perch usually gather in large #shoals when hunting for food. #SundayFishSketch
#Pike are the second largest #predator #fish that live in our #freshwaters. You might not know that but their mouth contains up to 700 razor sharp teeth, a few of which reach up to 2.5 cm in length. Combined with the enormous speed it makes them into very effective predators.
Every year thousands of #eels returning to the Ocean die when trying to pass dams on our rivers. the #Ardnacrusha hydroelectric powerplant on the #Shannon is one of the deadliest obstacles on eels route. I did a little illustration to help draw attention to this huge problem.
