I have been getting bored with my supplies and the limited colours available to me with those supplies, so I have introduced acrylic. I knew it was just a matter of time before I went running back to acrylics. It is all about the available colours and Golden is just so lovely.

I photographed the first two layers, the initial drawing and the the first wet layer and added them today.

Work in progress, this is the second layer after the initial sketch. I spend maybe 5 minutes blocking in the colours with a large brush. I also use dark ink to block in the main features. The colours will change & become deeper still. This looks like a weak tea to me right now.
