@patricia_gm99 This one originally grew out of a random thumbnail abstraction I did for an exercise then decided to take further to a rough sketch. The narrative sort of grew as I went, so I kept going. Differently, I'd make it less ambiguous that the vampiress isn't feeding *on* the baby.

I thought I'd share the other pieces I've gotten into Infected by Art over the years. First piece I got in was 'The Feeding', a bit atypical for me, not because it's dark art, but because it's a character piece! Click to see the whole thing, it's formatted quite vertical.

Thought I'd share the progression of 'Undersea Journey' from rough color sketch (among a few other concepts) through the work in progress to finish. This one came together fairly quickly/easily!

Happy to see I got a piece into the 'Infected by Art' annual again. "Undersea Journey" is an illustration for #Numenera game book: 'Break the Horizon' from @MonteCookGames. Congrats to all the other artists who took part, as always a smorgasbord of amazing work!

"The Chained Colossus", a fun piece painted for @HarnessedR; this was a very tough scale to depict. The atmosphere atop its sheared-through head is maybe ~ equivalent to half the surface of the Earth. Spaceships would either give false scale or be too small to even see!

Hello #portfolioday! I've had a busy year, and here are a few of my landscapes I'm particularly proud of painted for various clients, including Magic: The Gathering and The Witcher. Always interested in discussing work down the road!

Wishing everyone a warm, safe, and renewing Christmas! We're postponing ours til I'm out of quarantine, but in meantime I'll be thinking of particularly memorable (Sierra game) presents of my childhood. Can't wait to share them with my kiddo.
