@DeePeeArts I love painting strange landscapes—sometimes alien worlds and sometimes just future or past ones. If you’d like some strange creatures to go along with, definitely check out @charamath !
Here, have an art break, because everything else going on is too much!

With my first ever crowdfund campaign (#slaymat) finished, I’m starting to itch for another. What should it be? Artbook? Cards? Something else?

@HolBolDoTweet Hello, artshare! I love telling stories with strange landscapes, and these pieces are all from my personal world-building project which you can find here: https://t.co/iganoPdSja

@IndiiCreates This was the piece that caused me more frustration than any other I've attempted. I started with an idea of a character dissolving to fly with the 'birds'. It took me down a number of variations before I hit on the look and feel I wanted. And then 20 WIPs before finishing!
@Weary_canary Landscapes I have traveled, and the strange ideas that seem to bubble up out of me are the combined inspiration for my art.
I do love painting a good ice environment! This was a commission from a bit over a year ago, I think?

@MagnaGallina Agreed! Art/pop culture of whatever type can def be *part* of the mental library mix, but if you want to stand out, take inspiration from elsewhere, too. People ask where I get ideas, and it's most often from mashing unrelated (non-pre-packaged) interests together.
