Just a friendly viking! I do fantasy art, 3D modeling, cosplay, and a bit of voice acting when I can.

Back to art again! Firbolg Cleric of the Twilight.

Super busy here. Holidays, helping friends AND me move, and my hard drive also died! Lost most of the art I've made since September, but we move on!

BEHOLD! Grog Strongjaw! Goliath Barbarian, played by Travis Willingham. I included both bearded and non-bearded Grog, and that one time he had half a beard. (Thanks, Vax)
Thus begins Vox Machina.

C0mm completed for a Wood Elf Ranger. (: Noticing quite a bit of improvement as I'm making these. It's very encouraging to see progress like that.

Also, I'll begin posting some Vox Machina Portraits tomorrow! :D

Meet Rigger! Our Air Genasi Barbarian. Strong and reliable, with a big heart for her family and crew. Also, her cloud hair become a storm when she rages. It's VERY cool.

I don't paint as often as lineart/cell-shading, but it's fun to do every once in a while! I originally had the intent to animate him in Spine when I still had access. For now He'll remain like this, but maybe someday he'll be a real boy.

Started doing some art again. Thought I'd go through some creatures in the D&D Monster Manual, starting with the classic Beholder!

For this one I took inspiration from Skyrim and the Dreaming City in Destiny 2 to create an old mysterious place, full of magic.
Similar process to the last post, but this time it was rendered with Renderman. Bit of a learning curve, but it's got power to it.

Ah, the classic self portrait. I was pretty happy with this one! Classy black and white.. dramatic lighting.. and probably when my beard was the longest!

This is one of the first pieces I did for intro to photoshop class. We took an animated clip and did a paintover, changing the lighting to match another piece of media. I chose Kirishima from My Hero Academia. One of my favourite characters.

In class we learned how to use 3D modeling to make illustration and concepting easier. I took a ton of reference photos around Redmond town center, drew thumbnails, modeled it, then did a final paintover. Definitely helps with perspective and building.
