jouno is a member of the hunting dogs special units, and as he is blind, he keeps his eyes closed. has a bit of a sadistic streak, this one.

brighid is a powerful legendary blade (i.e. strong weaponized life-form) whose eyes are mostly closed. they open in one cutscene and are revealed to be a nice shade of purple!
