This is actually such a heartbreaking panel to me cause she's not even sure if she'll ever see Siren again. She probably regrets not only everything she's done but also for her lack in training him or preparing him for a journey like this. She truly does love him ;-;

I like how faced with the prospect of failing, knowing that he is not fit at all for the vast sea, he's still so excited to just get to leave the cave; this boy is definitely an explorer by heart!

I like how Kappa had to take a moment, stopped trying to tell them to stop just to be shocked by Neth's magic arm. Like, just needed a moment to be like, "What exactly have I gotten myself into" kinda moment XD

I like how Kappa is honest about his own skills and weaknesses. He knows he's tiny and he's okay with that! I also love Neth being dismissive of her more edgier side lol

I love the facial expressions like this, they're so cute! I hope Wendy draws more of these in the future. They're just so innocent looking, gives me chibi vibes in a way!

I bet that Queen Nee tricked these two into thinking these were valuable and that's why they just had these on hand XD

I love the idea that Siren is not only protecting himself but also Kappa. Like I know that Kappa has the wits and capabilities to be on his own, but I like the idea of Siren being his protector as well. It's adorable imo ☺️
