I attended my first live figure drawing session since college--such a special experience! Grotesque Burlesque is weekly figure drawing with an offbeat sensibility. These models were puppeteers from Rough House Theater--predictably, I focused on the people rather than the puppets.

Can you tell that I'm having a whole lot of fun drawing @TheCardboardK: Roar of the Beast?? 😂This isn't quite finished, but I had to share. And yes, of course, Alice is going, "MWAHAHAHA" in the final panel. 😆This will be out in 2021!!

I normally wouldn't use such cheesy sound effects in my comics, but.... these were perfect for this part of Doodleville!!! 🦸🏾‍♂️🦸🏾‍♀️

Today I've been drawing part of the epic final chapter of Doodleville, and Ameer's expression in this panel really spoke to me -- nervous as heck, but determined to do what he needs to do. 😅 I'm excited to share Doodleville with everyone next year!!
