I haven't done a lot of pencil work in recent years, unlike in high school when it was my go-to medium. But there's a few. White charcoal pencil, graphite from a sketchbook, and one from HS just because. Happy #PencilDay!!

I had no idea they were called fractals. I just thought they were fun to make. Basically string art on paper.

Sketchbook 3 is when I started carrying a kit everywhere. That changed my practice and moved skills forward enormously. I am convinced there is nothing better you can do for your development as an artist, than this. Scenes from my work's parking lot, summer/fall 2011

This was even earlier, late September 2009. I just detested the white flower at the time. Now I like it. Never trash your early pieces - time can change your perspective! If nothing else, you can see how much you've grown as an artist.
