@Lycomorpha I can get away with gouache on surfaces that would wither and die under watercolor. Lokta paper works surprisingly well. It's fairly thin but doesn't wrinkle much if you work dry.

I had a field day in 2014/2015 during the contract negotiations. It sucks for the world supply chain, but if you like watching ships - *bonus*. Sorry I can't be on my home beach this month.

#ArtAdventCalendar It's December 5 - have a ship! Sketched on the beach in Orange County, CA. These were all waiting their turn at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. The first one must have been in Sept - check out the inversion layer trapping smog at the water surface!
