@bosswrangler My best friend had that bike. I remember her letting me ride it, all shiny and new Christmas afternoon, wishing I could have one like it. My bike was just fine, but… shiny and new!! 🤩

I thought hers had hand brakes, but maybe memory fails.

Just posted this elsewhere and thought it would make a good #ArtAdventCalendar submission. This was for a holiday art exchange with a northerly friend; our theme was Horses and I was aiming for a Canadian prairie.

#ArtAdventCalendar I could use some beach today! Approach to ports of LA/LB during a 2015 labor dispute. It's worse now. Wish I was there w/a sketchbook!

Note the inversion layer capping the smog in just above sea level. A very SoCal phenomenon. (Also gross, but c'est la vie.)

Also found this painting I stashed in a drawer. It's always said October to me, maybe the orange? Dunno. Liking it more with a few changes, might just finish it.
