DC vs. Vampires #5 has a one-panel Cass appearance in it. Somehow the appearance is meaty enough to talk about tonight. So let's dig our fangs (or hopefully not), into this issue as it pertains to Cass.
I am sort of kidding, but Slade really does have this more personal history with Dick Grayson and Cass than Bruce. The first official encounter Cass having with Slade being in Nightwing #81.
But at the moment, I think there's a good reason why we haven't seen Cass being overly symbol happy. Let Jace have this time and moment. Just that eventually or another story outside the mainline would be fascinating to see Cass as Batman cause damn would that story be good.
As for Cass being Batman. I still fully say that it should eventually happen. Not currently, but eventually. it doesn't even have to be in the mainline, but an alternate future or world. It kind of would be fascinating to see the character of Cass approach being Batman.
But I'll give it to Batgirls artist Jorge Corona for making the white lenses work the most by making her more emotive than other artists who've drawn Cass with the white lenses.
Huh, today marks the three-year anniversary this account was created by the originator to celebrate all things Cass. While it started with just posting Cass moments, that's when she brought me on this account to co-run and well branch out beyond to talk about it all.
Why I plea for an Omnibus of the Puckett/Scott run because of A.) They deserve it and B.) to keep the physical copies around. C.) If Burnside and Gail's run can get ones, why not the one who LAID it all for these runs to happen?
