Sadly, these two issues weren't the best Rich Leonardi stuff (his Cass run was #45–47, 49–50, 52, 54 along with Nightwing #81 is just stellar). The characters lack the fluidity and save for Grodd the details. Add to the colors. Yeah, the series was a-- mess.

Two reasons. #1 No Man's Land introduced Harley Quinn (who's in her og costume and in the exact same position as she was in the event). #2 a certain someone else debuted in No Man's Land event, Cassandra.

Now it's a big thing to slot this back into Helena's history. I mean save for Batman's opening words. It's all there. Every continuity detail is there in full. So why am I going 😮?

5.) Batman: Joker War Zone #1 (Derrick Chew variant) - And here's the other exception. So why is this one so striking? Eleven years without seeing this Cass costume and seeing it return (to a degree) in canon?
