Batgirl #50 has Dick called in when Bruce/Cass have their throwdown due to being both on new variant of Soul.
And it about goes like the first encounter.
Nightwing #81 continues that brother/sister angle with Dick in a bit of a bind and needing Cass for some help. Basically, Deathstroke has a disc that has a lot of information, and Dick's injured so he asks Cass to get it back.
Looking back, I didn't even notice the parallels that come later with the two. Like this. This scene "feels" familiar doesn't it?
Again, we get other nuggets all around until the biggest is during the Batman meltdown in Batman #600 the penultimate issue of "Bruce Wayner: Murderer?"
Give Cassandra Cain an ongoing again and just freaking talk to WB in promoting this character outside more. If she has a loyal fanbase and creators who adore the character within your own company.
Just THINK if you actually promote the character right what it would mean.
So there are two nitpicks I have with today's stories involving Cass, but they aren't even due to the story or creators themselves. More so with the company.
I adore these stories. Each felt like I was back in 2003. Better times.
OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! "What's in the Box?" preview by Dustin Nguyen.
But he truly was a pathetic man, which is probably why #11 of the series stands out as "the" story for him. You see all of the facets of Cain.
Likewise, the entire series doesn't ever sugarcoat the monster Cain is toward Cassandra. This bastard abused her regularly in an attempt to make the perfect living weapon.
