So 2020 literally was a literal #Cainaissance for the character of Cassandra Cain. Let's take a look back at what 2020 did for this character.
I've been making a list and checked it twice finding out if DC was naughty or nice this week for #CAINAISSANCE2020! Indeed DC is a mixture of both as Cass appears for one panel in today's Detective Comics #1033.
@AquamAnder Lord Death Man hehehe
Riddler
Ra's Al Ghul
Poison Ivy
Well, besides the obvious duo of Cass/Steph... these four. https://t.co/Ohyha6NlaX
Now I can go onto my Cass is the real hope bringer (besides Diana), and well this issue lends more evidence to that theory with less Dark Multiverse appearances and-- look who shows up when things are at their most dire. Look who shows up.
Ironically (or not) we have the final issue of Batman & the Outsiders #17. Sadly we don't get ONE MORE glorious moment of Cassandra with her mother. We do get one with her adoptive father. Again, we get the glorious Marcio Takara drawing yet another Batdad moment for our girl.
Though I dig the art (a taste of what's to come in Future Slate Batgirls given the artist for this story is doing that), and now knowing what now perhaps I judged too harshly this in one regard, but the story in Batgirl #50 involving Cass is the lowest on this list for me still.
This past week's Detective Comic #1032 marked the twelfth straight week the character of Cassandra Cain has appeared in a comic.
In those twelve weeks for FIFTEEN appearances in various comics!
