I look at pirating as a necessity at times when the Big 2 are idiots about their trade policies. Why I harp on DC for a Puckett/Scott Batgirl Omnibus because A.) Vol. 1 of the released Vol. 1 is going for about $75 nowadays.
Namely... for the New 52 coming along just a month later wiping this all out completely with the two starting from scratch.
I get it though. There was A LOT to cram into just these seventeen issues. But I feel like it's been a recurring theme that's been running in Bat books. Where the relationship evolution happens "off panel". example Cass forgives Kate after the Clayface incident.
In Robin, there was only one moment, this one. While I enjoyed it, I feel honestly Cass should've guest starred in one issue of this book.
There was a nice evolution that we got to where there they realized, "They're not so bad." Or in Jean-Paul's case his other half pushing his "weaknesses" for friendship to the side.
Other than Jason and Kate, Cass always neat evolving relationships with those in the Bat Family. From Tim originally being creeped out, the awkward meeting with Steph, to Jean-Paul being her first friend to understand her more than anyone else (at the time)..
The latest Robin series starring Damian ended last week and though I did enjoy it thoroughly there was one thing I feel like there was a missed opportunity. Of course, it involves the lead and Cass...
@EndHimRightly Trust me when I say when Cassandra wants an opponent put down she will put them down with maximum effort. Consider what she gave Jason a "love tap".
@triforceofgods Did he? If we're talking escaped yes. But if we're talking about the one who realized "why" he was putting up the fight. But here's the thing about Cass...
