Anyways here's Monday's walk cycle. I had a devil of a time getting the coat tails to move in a way I was happy with, I'd initially made them too loose and flappy and had to stiffen them up for it to feel right. The color makes it feel like an entirely new game.
And for comparison here is Lou's idle pose. I made adjustments to the idle so that he is consistently resting the wrench on his shoulder between loops.

Here's a more complex walk cycle animation in the full-color style. Coloring is quick but inking the outlines is a bit meticulous. I hope I can get that part of the process down faster, there's a -lot- of frames to color. #gamedev
It's been a little while of planning and preparation but I finally have a work pipeline in place for converting our game's pencil art into 32-color final sprites. Here's the first one, a basic idle loop. I want the final to look good but be easy for me to draw by myself. #gamedev
