I shared an in-progress version of this a couple of days ago. Here’s the finished painting (probably), ready to go into the new book.

creatures. Fast-forward to today and I am just a few months from completing the next book: Dragons of the Dark Woods. Set in the woodland very near to my own home, this book is a little different from those that preceded it. The Dark Wood dragons are stranger, scarier and (9/n)

of Wales is a wilder, more mountainous and less populated part of the country, and this wildness was reflected in some of the dragons, adapted to life in the most remote and challenging locations. But dragons are nothing if not diverse, and other species are tiny, delicate (8/n)

for dragons themselves. And, whilst they may never actually find a real dragon, I hoped they might discover the magic of the natural world along the way. The next book, covering the north of Wales arrived a year later, following the pattern set by the first book. The north (7/n)

just possibly still exist today. This meant that they needed to to escape notice, to live alongside us in the modern world. For this reason they are all small, and some bear a passing resemblance to common birds. Even if spotted, they are unlikely to draw attention from the (3/n)

(2/3) The print-run is limited to 100, all signed and numbered. Just £10 each plus postage. So if they all sell, that’s £1000 that will make a big difference to the food bank in the difficult post-Xmas period.
The prints have been ordered, and will be ready to send in January...
