The Ashen Lake on the Skyreach Mountains’ eastern slopes is actually the caldera of a dormant volcano. Fed by surrounding glaciers it is home to the blooming town of Stendell - and a legend or two.

In the north the Skyreach Mountains are snow-covered all year round, while in the south only the highest peaks with their glaciers are dipped in white.

On a rock above the town of Fandyl sits a lonely little house. It is inhabited by a wise old woman, sticking to herself and her routines. Lately though there have been curious changes - such as the swing tied to the tree at the edge of the rock.

The Palace of Panthil thrones at the very top of the city. Being one of the oldest buildings in the city, it is often subjected to construction work and has been remodeled several times, at one point even serving as a secretive order's headquarters.

Ivendarea’s southern swamps are fertile, yet treacherous grounds. Much of the fauna is swift and deadly, the plants often poisonous or otherwise harmful - if not deadly - to those who dare to try and harvest their fruits.
