@michaelkatchan Seb mckinnon might be good to look at here. Even though he has pretty stylized drawings, his stuff is never *confusing* to look at. It's pretty easy to glance at and understand, and I think that's pretty necessary in a MTG piece which is so tiny.
@Awanton6 If you're looking to do illustration, I'd also suggest trying to add a bit more story to your pieces! These are nice character paintings, but a big part of illustration is telling a story in a single frame. : ) I've linked some pieces by Yongjae Choi that do this really well!
@VilenkoArt is what I'm talking about. If these are printed very small at card-size, they're going to be hard to read and since they're pretty major story points, you should make sure they're easy to understand at a glance!

@VilenkoArt These are really nice!! I think the 2 main pointers I would give if you're looking to do card artwork is that;
1. Some parts of your pieces are getting a little muddy because there's so much going on in a small area with similar value ranges. The two sections I've linked here
