@archaeoraptor The repetetive scales almost always make the dinosaur more boring and more 2D. I find experimenting with different integument makes for something far more interesting
Reminder on how robustly built a lot of elasmosaur skulls were. The big rectangular spaces behind the skull are called the supratemporal fenestrae and they were COMPLETELY FILLED with muscle!
