For #SculptJanuary2023 day 8 I made the Altar of Krag'wa from WoW Battle for Azeroth. Krag'wa is a frog god that the trolls worship.

Spent half the time box modeling the shapes rather than sculpting, made way more sense than to try to carve everything out of the default cube.

#SculptJanuary2023 Day 4: Slimy. Felt like a good excuse to make a froggo. Frogs are slimy, right? Got the shape done pretty quick so I decided to paint some tiger stripes on him. The new automasking features were useful.

#SculptJanuary2023 Day 3: Insect. Sculpting a zergling felt like the natural choice. About 2 hours of noodling based off of a @MrJackArt drawing from 2009.

Another Oblivion character study. I think I got carried away adding realistic facial features, looks more like an elderly Redguard than a stretched Nord. Tons of fun to sculpt though

Merry christmas! 🎅 Have a christmas Hornswog sculpt practice. Saw one of these guys in the new WoW expansion and had to sculpt one. Should add color more often, really brings it to life

Fragile from Death Stranding, screenshot study.

Wanted to see what happens if I paint until it's as finished as it can be. Took over a week. I imagined it as a tall A0 canvas. I think I achieved that "woah, did I do that?" kind of quality. Enjoyed the process, mostly soft brush.

Experimented with HDR painting. Quick sculpt in Blender, render to 32-bit EXR, paint in Krita adjusting exposure with the LUT docker. I like it, gives a lot of control over extreme values. Had export to Blender to bake it to 8 bits through compositing.
