Some anteaters because why not. Tried to paint the bottom two with a smudgy oil brush because it feels nice to use but it's so hard to control and do anything useful with >.>
This night elf came together fairly painlessly probably because of the time I spent warming up with pencil sketches, really seems to make a difference. Different mentality, can't erase so you think before drawing.
Not done with the blood elves yet. I like his expression, looks pretty blood-elfy to me but a lot of the refs I used looked way more sassy. Also maybe I could have filled in the armor details a bit more. If only I didn't suck at time management...
Drawing some crazy looking lemurs again, this one's called an Aye-aye. Found out I enjoy really thin lines with some graphic value a lot. I think I've been drawing with a way too fat brush. The painted guy took like 3x longer than the other two which I ended up liking more o.O
I was going to draw Kobolds but the warmup sketch was too interesting. Trying to use a soft brush to avoid brush marks without it looking all mushy and soft-brushy. Looks pleasantly fleshy with the bits of red here and there.
Troll dude this time. Actually spent some time looking at refs up front. Turned out nice, I think :o
Felt like murlocs today for some reason. Too much Warcraft music? Nah. Drawing from imagination definitely feels like my weak spot atm. Can you guess which one is a copy?
DOOM soundtrack inspired me to draw a cyber-pinky demon and uhh... a guy with a big head.
Another one of these guys, not entirely sure what this one's supposed to be. Looks like a mount maybe.
Been drawing these zergy looking dudes all day. This one looks like a mix between a roach and a baneling o.O
