We've preserved a prototype of Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday for the SNES, developed Phoenix Interactive Entertainment! This was made possible thanks to an anonymous collector and iniche! It seems relatively close to the retail game when compared to it's other found prototypes.
We've preserved an NTSC prototype of Rugrats: Scavenger Hunt for the Nintendo 64, originally published by THQ in 1999! Comparing this build to the retail game, there are quite a few notable differences that are littered throughout such as incomplete animations and placeholders.
We've preserved a total of four builds of Deja Vu for the Nintendo Entertainment System! They were rescued from a private collection in Indiana and contain quite a few differences within the graphics as well as the game's script!
A few days ago some early Famitsu scans by @GamingAlexandri were taken offline due to copyright. These magazines are essential to those who document video game history, so they're being redistributed via torrents! This thread will be updated whenever more issue sets are ready.
We’ve preserved Knight Rider by Pack-In-Video for the FamicomBox! It contains minor differences regarding headers and padding. Functionally, it is the same as the retail release. The FamicomBox release contains a Nintendo header which is added in the PRG at address 0x1FFE0.
Today we’ve preserved a prototype of Alone in the Dark by Infogrames for the Game Boy Color! Looking at hex address 0x3FE0 within the data, a build date of the 21st of February 2001 is listed. This places the build around a month or so before the final release!
