#throwbackTHURSDAY This was a painting (acrylic and ink) done for an artwork auction for The Elephant Managers Association hosted by Andrew Shek. Super fun image to play with shape and value!
Riggs also had some gnarly & ethereal graphite and scratchboard drawings!

#saturdayINSPIRATION Today's artist is American painter John Asaro, b. around 1940-current. His exploration of lost shadows and edges combined w/ saturated color exploration is what really draws me to his work. His site https://t.co/vyGXYgiLpW & demos https://t.co/7MjsNnjCP6

#throwbackTHURSDAY This drawing is ballpoint pen on watercolor paper. I washed on some unbleached titanium acrylic on top, then some wood varnish on top of that, and then some white acrylic on top of the varnish layer!
