Finished volume 7 of Book Girl today, the first part of the last story in the main series. Wonder if I'll be able to finish off the series by the time I leave the airport. Would be a nice way of capping off my time in Japan
Saekano volume 2: this book is making me remember why I like this series. Tomoya still has a special relationship with the subheroines that's difficult to sum up in one word.
Utaha and Tomoya's relationship as author and fan is such a bittersweet, heart-pounding first love...
Anyway, read Classroom of the Elite, Ayanokoji is a well-written character
I regret speculating to Callum Apothecary Diaries anime hasn't been announced yet is because it's a prestige title that will get an above average staff/schedule
Now he refuses to read the books/manga to wait for this hypothetical kami anime that only exists in my head right now
I've committed to reading Shield Hero volume 7 before I drop this series, although "skim reading" is perhaps the more accurate term. It's mostly just one big battle so nothing much important happens for most of it 🥲
A common complaint about Engage Kiss ep 1 was "I don't understand why the two girls would put up with the guy" and I'm like "YO that's the funniest part!!"
One girl is some weirdass demon yandere, while the other knew the dude when he wasn't a wreck and pays for him out of pity
3) The Executioner and Her Way of Life by Mato Sato
A delightfully morbid dark fantasy yuri series that keeps twisting its setting on its head
Caught up with the English volumes of Executioner! I'm glad this volume had a "the fight is only just beginning" end rather than a suspenseful cliffhanger, so I can feel comfortable putting this series down for now. What a fun ride!
