Didn't buy abec's previous artbook but I'm thinking of getting his latest one because it's mainly Alicization + Progressive art
you can smell my bias
I finished reading Hige wo Soru volume 1. Although it doesn't start on a good foot, I felt like I had a better grasp on it by the end.

Tomozaki-kun's first two volumes are decent, but the series really finds its footing in volume 3. "I want to change so that I can become more like myself" is the best way I can sum up Tomozaki's growth, and growing up in general.
I think it's pretty wholesome how the author of The Master of Ragnarok and Blesser of Einherjar supervised Sexiled. He seems like a cool and chill dude.
"Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore Dake ni Uzai". An little sister romcom, but it's about your friend's sister.
"Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Romcom". A romcom where the childhood friend absolutely does not lose :)

I read Torture Princess volume 1 and... wow. I'm blown away by how well-written it was. Didn't think I'd like such an edgy story but it commits to its gothic horror aesthetic so thoroughly I can't help but be impressed
If I were an Arifureta fan, I'd be saying, "They shouldn't have replaced the character designer/chief animation director." It's arguably the single most important role in the production and so much pre-production/animation work would have had to be redone from scratch
