@Filmbuff_007 @sarahwebbishere I love all the Oi Frog books too ( Oi Puppies is the latest release ) Kids love Julia Donaldson books - The Smeds and the Smoos is the latest book Anf there are lots of details in Axel Schleffers illustrations ( we even find out which planet the Gruffalo comes from !!)
@Filmbuff_007 @sarahwebbishere The Pig the Pug books by Aaron Blabey are very funny .If she’s a girly girl the Fancy Nancy books might appeal to her .The Day the crayons quit and sequels and any book by Jon Klassen, the Winnie the witch books have lovely oil pastel drawings as the endpapers .

The O Brien Press Panda readers are good for younger readers.They are good as read aloud books too.There are lots of illustrations to bridge the gap between picture book and novel.There are 30 books in the series and most are written by Irish authors.
