I want Dark Sonic to be explored more outside of "oh, edgy" - like maybe being a distorted mirror of Super Sonic?

My headcanon is that Super Sonic enhances and propells energy (i.e., flowers would subtly turn and "reach" out to him), so Dark Sonic would hone and strip energy.

@scurvypiratehog I like designs where Elias is "pretty" with noticably nice hair compared to the ones that I personally think nerfed his prettiness or looked too much like Sally.

The first one is most innovative and game accurate. I'd argue that it has the best color palette too, but the other two feature more iconic traits and offers contrast with Antoine or Bunnie?

I'm still very much certain that female leads and/or female characters in general will always inevitably get scrutinized more compared to their male counterparts. Look at Sally Acorn and Amy Rose in Sonic alone. So much specially customized vitriol is thrown at them.
