@Alex_Hedgefox2 @SpinStellar To add on that, this is a double edged sword because I can cite examples of the female mobians looking as if their bodies were cut from the same stone under particular pens; not exactly diverse.
It's just a (contrasting) style difference.
@Alex_Hedgefox2 @SpinStellar I think you're conflating "body type diversity" with character anatomy and style. You can still adhere to the canonical Sonic anatomy standard whilst featuring different body types. Blaze, Rouge, Vanilla, Cream, Vector, and Big alone prove and provide this.
@BoiSkyward @SpinStellar Not trying to rub it in, just giving context and information!
For what it's worth, Sally and Amy are both seniors who predate most characters. The two are around the same age and both purposed to fill the love interest roll. Amy and Sally are relics and staples in Sonic history.
@sonictrash0103 @scurvypiratehog @AppleSlipper @GazChamber @Sonic_IDW_heat @TokuKing2 You asked and Google delivered I guess
Inb4 the overdone and mandatory "b-but Blaze/Sally" - yes, yes, they are very good girls too or can be slid in the best girl slot but I said what I said; time to switch up the tempo and be bold 👁👁
@YoungPrinceDon @Furdman02 @iverson64_ @Aniloidfill @ChillaxinSonic In the early years where they were still finding their footing, most characters (outside of Tails, he was pretty much always a constant 8 as admitted by his creator on an anniversary despite them designing him personally with a 5 year old in mind) had initially "different" ages.
