Still one of my favorite side-mini Sonic character stories.

I love Sally's reaffirmed strength to fulfill her role of Freedom Fighter leader and someday destiny to be the queen of her freed people. How she's shown to believably bond with her family and gets sentimental closure.

So generally, that's hardly anything definitive to go by.

A safer, fair conclusion is that Sonic and Amy aren't an official romantic pair and Sonic's feelings for Amy are often left ambiguous or are overall over the place whereas mixed signals are given, but they are friends.

If I had to pick a favorite Archie Sonic pair, it's BunToine hands down. It never fails to be likable in any universe it's in.
