tbh I love FF13's Shiva design the most tho. this design reminds me of FF10's eidolon designs which are my favorite in general from the whole series. This design looks so ornate and alien and they turn into a motorcycle. What's not to love

Levi already had the threat of Erwin's life being taken held over his head in the previous arc - first Erwin lost his arm, then the monarchy/MPs threatened Erwin to Levi's face (& Levi's situation being casually mentioned to Erwin as well) - and we see Levi's mask slip.
