Every cut of Momonosuke I drew & was the assistant animation-director for.
The Luffy vs Kaido scene, the Homies transformation, Law`s big warping scene, Kid bashing Big Mom`s head, Damned Punk reveal & the final 2 cuts.

"Big Mom" was first introduced over 10 years ago in One Piece episode 571.
No one has ever been able to beat her, not even the main characters.
In the next episode... Law and Kid have something to say about that.
One Piece episode 1066
My TV anime Episode Director debut!

I, Henry Thurlow, am the episode director of One Piece 1066 airing this month.
As far as I can tell (& as far as the production staff knew when I asked) there has never been a non-Japanese ep director for OP, or possibly any Toei Animation TV series… ever.

For the record, the english translation on the bottom is a bit strange. Basically, Sanji says "How could you not believe Robin, you stupid Moss head?" and then Zoro says sarcastically "Well it`s a fact, Mr. Lovely Eyebrows." Sanji doesn`t appreciate it, hence the expression.

Wife`s thoughts on One Piece vol 105:
Now that it`s officially ended, the Wano-Kuni saga is her favorite arc in the series. That`s mostly due to Oden`s flashback but also how it connected & concluded so many story elements.
She says WTF though Yamato? Seriously? WTF was that? 😂

Yoshiaki Kawajiri`s entire filmography is of course another "must-watch." Hiss fearlessness when it comes to brutal content & outrageous levels of detail defined what "anime" meant to me.

“Big Mom & Kaido aren’t REALLY beat though right? So what’s gonna happen with them? Also it looks like Yamato’s joining the crew.” 😳
Adult Momo was the highlight, Buggy scene was funny, & not sure what to make of the new admiral yet.

I drew key animation for One Piece episode 1040. I only did a short scene but Full-body Armament-Haki Jinbei & some splashes of blood was really fun to work on. Outside of Film: RED this was my first time drawing Jinbei.
