cinemahouse is a genuinely inspiring pc98 eroge that ignores routes or heroines
it has a point it wants to make about art and it will go straight for it
the fact you have to make your own ero instead of ero coming to you is great lol
what an awe-inspiring work about movies
and to a certain point, you know your moviemaking dream must end -- you will have to join the war
that Passion of filmmaking is what drives the game and why it has to end in a certain way
it's a testament to those artists who had to sacrifice their passion for the war
but what makes the game unique (and why the space world war 2 is necessary) is the events after you are done filmmaking
you are dragged into the everyday hell of space ww2 hollywood
sometimes you gotta find a space chicken pet of your star actor
the game does an incredible job in simulating the chaos of filmmaking and you also can make some silly choices that could ruin the plot of the movie
i've accidentally turned an ending of an otherwise solid movie into a bunch of dudes dancing naked lmao
and the cgs reflect that
once you gather the required talent, it's time for you to make a movie
this is where the gameplay gets surprisingly engaging; the game simulates crewmates quarreling against each other and you can micromanage your schedule if you want to
it's more realistic than, say, The Movies
all i can say is galzoo is a seriously good game with a lot of PASSION and caters to everything i want in a niche/hardcore rpg
it's probably my favorite alicesoft game so far and it's a pity only a handful has played it
it's too charming to be ignored!!!
but really, i ended up liking the game a lot for how addictive the drpg routing gameplay is and the surprisingly engaging character writing
something i wanna do later is to grind affection points for all the girls and read all their events
they're just adorable and so is leo
finished Galzoo Island, a DRPG by alicesoft heavily inspired by wizardry types, and easily not just one of the best alicesoft rpgs but one of the better drpgs i've played too
it's a short game but the 2 1/4th days i've put into the main game were the most fun i had in a drpg
