It's been a while since my last Rivals post and well, it's New Year's Eve... Let's give the spotlight to the leaders who received a New Year alt as part of the 2018 & 2019 dedicated events! Alena (in a lovely pink furisode!!! I want one too!!), Angelo, Meena and... even Psaro! ✨

A total of four Remembrance Outfit skins were released, starting in March 2020: Pirate King Erik, Divine Bustier Jessica, Pandemonic Set Psaro and Shimmering Dress Alena! All of them came in their original version, plus two more with different colour schemes! 💖

Today would have marked the 5th birthday of Dragon Quest Rivals and there is not a single day that goes by without me thinking about the game! It still lives in my heart and will continue to do so forever! Thank you Rivals!! 🥰 #DQライバルズ #ライバルズ5周年

A novice treasure hunter and member of the expedition team, she has a tomboyish personality and idolizes her captain. Always brimming with energy, she works hard every day!

Introducing the Sylph Expedition Team! A group of explorers sent by the country of Sylph, their goal is to scout the lands of Draconia! They have already set up camps on two islands, which serve as their bases!

The actual Erdrick hero card, known as the Hero of Legend (as well as all the other generic adventurers from DQ III, called Veterans in Rivals) actually debuted with True Set 2, but following that you could access alternate versions as well and build your dream team!

We were still missing a couple protagonists when the end of service for Rivals was officially announced, but Dragon Quest III enthusiasts (here I am!!) had also just received the greatest of gifts from the Goddess... True Set 3 and with it, female Erdrick representation! 🥰
