i'm trying to cobble together a base mesh with consistent loops i can reuse and i'm having trouble with the boobs/pecs area
the edgeflow is just pissing me off and nothing looks right 😕 it's *working*, but the decolletage area just looks crummy
i was gonna go look for some old stuff that i could post for that improvement meme but all my old stuff was kinda rad as fuck
still have literally never finished anything in my life but my stuff was all really cool looking before i actually learned how to follow rules
celebrating this #portfolioday by hoping maybe somebody either wants to throw money at me to make go quiet or scoop me up out of IT to design pretty girls
either way i'm primarily a character designer and i also like to write narratives so if you're in the market hit me up
it's ✨international women's day✨? please look at my tiles and talk shop about character design and 3D modeling with me
irene, kelsey. creation struggling against restraints. 2021, twitter, internet
tried out a new tutorial for no-sculpt poly modeling at https://t.co/mxtezrKZnf
i miss planar modeling and i'm good at it 😭
headshape helps a lot too? there was something about the one i've been texturing(on the left) when i was sticking meshes to it but textured it just doesn't feel as good 😟 pulling an old head out of a .blend of old sculpts looks nicer but!!! but!!! i'll probably hate it
@user_nikc @TheKamdyman no, i don't mind! i've always seen the term "sawtooth UVs" to describe the default UVs you get from spheres with poles at the ends. literally any straight UVs can get the effect though and @minionsart has a ton of tutorials on the subject
but here's my UVs and the effect!
was looking through my old screenshots for some super old "how i've improved" stuff but sorry my old pixel textured stuff was rad as hell
