@MammothMk4 Visual novel is the in-between to comics and novels. That means they have their own means that make the medium work.
As an example, because they keep reusing backgrounds, I thought Mumu was talking to Doc in a hotel lobby, rather than his room. That's where it gets lazy.
However much Silence wants scientific discoveries for the benefit of the "masses" how would the masses even know what they want? Even Kal admits their greatest concern was just living for the next day.
If you wanted science outside of market forces, you'd need to break out.

LONE TRAIL is a very good example to point to when asked about the quality of gacha storytelling. It's a denigration of the military-industrial complex and a paean to dreams even as it suffers from occasional moments of odd writing decisions. 1/11

@RadiantGuider @PrefixOfSuffix I alternate between having eyes and no eyes. The reason I add eyes to Doc is to pattern it with how I draw eyes for Amiya and Kal: Amiya has a square pupil and Kal has a inverse triangle pupil.
Folinic also has the same pupil because she's linked to Kal (And I ship Kalinic)
@PrefixOfSuffix Thanks! and you're partly correct!
The Doctor usually has sharp triangular pupils while Midnight Doctor has rounded pupils.
It's the only clue in the comic to indicate that this isn't The OG Doctor Muelsyse is talking to.
