I need to lay down for like.. a month. I'm fucked up from my new medication.
There four are next.
There: I beat one of the arcade ports. One I'd never heard of before, that nobody in the entire fucking world gives two shits about. If this thread flops, I'll know why :P
NO pile. It's not awful like I feared but it's a total nothing of a game that significantly OPs the hero.
Oh dear.
Well at least the boss is um..
Juggernaut wearing his Halloween Bell Pepper costume?
I'd already of beaten the US version.
Compared to some of the crap the SMS spewed out, Captain Silver isn't the worst thing ever. I confess I finally had to rewind some cheap shots in Stage 5.
Okay, here is the REAL Bubble Bobble, only they apparently enhanced this over the Arcade game with 100 additional levels (!) and new items.
Sounds great!
Not counting this for the YES/NO pile but there's a 3 game "arcade smash hits" set that has remakes of Centipede, Breakout, and Missile Command. It seems to play really well!
Breakout looks like Arkanoid, but it's just Breakout.
All three games have upgraded graphics. It's nice
Yes, there's voice samples and the transformation into the Werewolf includes the cut scene. So they retained many of the game's hallmarks.
And the best moves from the Werewolf are there, including the OP "fuck you" Fireball Dash thing. The best part of the game, really.
Alien Syndrome!
Another port of a Sega arcade release that should have been console-defining.
Alright, apparently everyone wants me to do the arcade ports now and come back to licensed games when I have more time.
Let's do that. #IGCvMasterSystem Spring Break: SMS Arcade Ports Thread #1.
This time I *will* stick to alphabetical order. No playing favorites.
