my edit was going for proportions along the lines of characters like this to give the character a more adult look than a cuter look. This isn't squint/slant eyes, it's just a more realistic proportion where the eyes aren't enlarged for cute-factor. (Replying here for visibility)

Korra's problem of uncertain seasons was such a big problem that they would have been better off if each season was a different avatar and it was an AGES storyline.

That, or allow your show to run the risk of ending on a cliffhanger if it means not sabotaging your potential.
