I got this in a collection of family photos. I don't recognise anyone though. I'm hoping they caught the bride at an off moment and it was actually a happy day for her! I've always found the chap with the kitten funny. Lots of little things each time you look.

I moved them over to a thicker patch of weeds so they would be a bit safer after I took some pictures

found these in an album from my mums side. she doesn't recognise any of the people though. one of them seems to be a powered scooter of some kind. thought the bicycle might be interesting for the lamp on the front, gas carbide maybe?

They have all passed away now but gran and 2 of her sisters were in the land army. Not many stories but have some photos you might like to see. She was "in service" in Fife first and met my grandad at a dance at the village hall. He was reserved on the farm and in the home guard

This is the inside of the card with from Henry. He was killed early 1918, his brother John in the Black watch early 1917. The 2nd photo is him home on leave in 1917. I like how they got their nickname after the camp tents blew away and they moved to comfortable billets in Troon!

His other brother John, prev a miner in Saline died on 9/3/17 with the 9th battalion Black Watch. The 2nd pic has many of the same training club with John at the front and another brother Charles at the side. my gran thought the 3rd pic was also him but my dads cousin disagrees

James's brother Henry who is on the 1st pic I posted was killed at Arras with the 14th batt HLI on 27/03/18. In the third pic he is sitting on the ground on the right with the windygates phys training club before the war. 4th is a card he sent home.

Looks the same to me. At the moment I'm trying to work out if the man on the right of the first picture taken a few years later is the man in the middle of the back row in the 2nd. Think I might be too keen to convince myself it is, any opinions appreciated.
