My next two #KennerPortraits, inked, colored, and scanned: my Tusken Raider and Luke in his Bespin fatigues, which is where I learned the word "fatigues". Bespin Luke is one of my most played-with figures, and you can see quite a bit of paint wear.

Watching Disney’s Snow White for the first time as an adult, I wondered if her design was influenced by Betty Boop. Indeed it was: Betty Boop animator Grim Natwick was lead animator on Snow White, and his initial character design was rejected by Walt for sexiness.

Freeborn here calls Greedo one of his favorite creature designs, and describes the mask's origin as a "Pea-Man" for a UK commercial. The "mohawk of quills" was a necessary addition to cover the seam that he had to cut because the plastic had stiffened up!

The first issue of Trail of Shadows has dropped on Marvel Unlimited and I am digging it. Multi-threaded noir in the High Republic, spinning off from the climax of "The Rising Storm."
