My favorite gag in BETTY AND VERONICA: THE BOND OF FRIENDSHIP is when what is originally thought to be a massive OIL spill turns out to be a massive HAIR GEL spill, and so when Toni attempts to clean off the local wildlife, this little bird ends up with a slick new hairstyle:

I haven't read any of @nkjemisin and Jamal Campbell's FAR SECTOR yet, so this is the first I've seen of Jo Mullein. Does she always rock a ring construct cape? Because that's a pretty awesome look. (I was pleased to see both her and GL: LEGACY's Tai Pham appear among the pin-ups)

Campbell packs a lot of interesting drama and characterization into the backgrounds of her panels, so the art really rewards lingering on, and the comics reward re-reading. I enjoyed what appears to be a budding (but one-sided) rivalry between Pepperoni and Klunk, for example.

It just occurred to me that now would be an extremely interesting time for @DCComics to commission a new Haunted Tank comic.

(If you're unfamiliar, it was long-running feature about a WWII tank crew occasionally assisted by the ghost of Confederate General J.E.B. Stuart)

Last night I watched the Lego DC SHAZAM movie, and today I popped in a TEEN TITANS GO! s.5 disc to find the first episode was "Little Elvis" and OH MY GOD IT IS THE BEST.
