I’m back to work after a little time out and this one of Glen Coe is coming on.

Working on this, after a bit of doubt and procrastination it’s starting to come together...Kyle of Durness on an old map of the same.

Some of my work going to the @edinburghart with @NLightsGallery this weekend. Edinburgh Art Fair at the Corn Exchange,Stand D15. Tickets available online/ on the door. Wish I was going,there will be lots of art to drool over and a cafe and bar, a great day out!

Today’s painting so far, the road on the map was at just at the right level to stand in for the path that takes you to the most beautiful beach around the corner. The island of Scarp is on the left.

Finding a way to depict puffins without overdoing “cute” has been taking a bit of time but I think I’m getting closer.

Spending today painting clouds and watching garden visitors with orange underskirts.
